Most of us have heard of the “Glass Ceiling". Definition: an unofficially acknowledged barrier to advancement in a profession from rising beyond a certain level in a hierarchy.
What about “Glass Walls”? We're referring to our own “personal walls”. These walls stop us from getting from point A to point B, from having that deep bonding relationship that we have always wanted, from achieving our dreams or from keeping us from being truly happy.
We all have these walls in some area or another because of hurts/wounds. Lots of times these walls feel so normal to us, we don’t even realize they exist. Even if we have an idea what they are.....we usually don’t understand how to get rid of them. Sometimes the manifestation of our walls look like depression, relational destruction, procrastination, failure, fear of failure, fear of success, avoidance, negativity, paralysis, anxiety, sabotage, anger, disease, loneliness, bitterness, just to name a few.
These are not the reasons but the outcome.
ALSO, why is it that so many people don’t experience love in their lives? Real love – the type that God talks about... a lot. There is also the possibility there is an "Orphan Wound". This is something that many people struggle with…in the church as well as in the world. These wounds can even stop us from having an intimate relationship with our Father God.

Open-Heart Coaching is to help individuals find freedom from the emotional aftermath of hurtful, harmful or traumatic experiences.
These emotional hurts/wounds can be from childhood all the way into present adulthood. As children, we just internalize these hurts/wounds because we don't know how to process them. As adults, we try to dismiss or bury them and just try to move on. We say to ourselves; the past is the past.
WARNING: Not addressing these hurts/wounds alters our thinking and life's path.
This type of coaching is lead by the Holy Spirit and the Lord does the healing. Individuals that understand this process can walk a person down this miraculous path. It's like going through emotional open-heart surgery......At times during coaching sessions, you may feel raw and vulnerable as you confront the painful areas of your life and do the hard work of personal growth.
But don't let that scare you because what's on the other side of the healing is truly life changing! I "personally" know this!
Your relationship with your coach should be a safe place to examine your life and help you greet the world with a new perspective.
