Standards of Conduct and Code of Ethics
We observe the following Standards of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
- We conduct ourselves in a manner that reflects positively on coaching as a profession and refrain from doing anything that might harm the integrity of that position.
- Maintain a non-judgmental approach to all communication both written and verbal.
- Provide an atmosphere of openness and honesty to our clients where they can feel at total ease to express themselves freely.
- We will make ourselves available to people of all beliefs and all cultural backgrounds. We do not seek to impose our values on another, proselytize or condemn. To treat each person with dignity and respect regardless of their gender, ethnic, social or religious background.
- We do not claim or imply outcomes that we cannot guarantee.
- We respect the client’s privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. We do not share information unless authorized by client or required by law.
- We obtain permission from clients before releasing their names as references.
- We recognize when a client is no longer benefiting from our relationship and might be better served elsewhere. At that time, we recommend the change.
- Ensure that we will be present at the right time and date for the booked coaching sessions.
- To establish a partnership, which challenges clients to recognize and build on their strengths, explore their current reality and find positive ways to make changes to move forward.
