Emotional healing is addressing childhood/adult wounds and/or traumatic events that have happened in a persons life by going to the point of the pain. The point of the pain will be found in all kinds of emotional hurts. As a person is taken through the process of emotional healing, it's amazing how different they feel after. We don't believe that clinical psychology can bring wholeness. It only teaches a person to cope with their wounded parts. Only Jesus the creator can bring wholeness to a persons life.
Physical healing requires rest, emotional healing requires work. Individuals that understand this process can walk a person down this miraculous path.
WARNING: Not addressing these hurts/wounds alters our thinking and life's path.
In very severe cases of woundedness: A "wounded part" is a fragmentation of the core identity. There are different ranges of this from a wound that a person can't seem to get past, all the way to a person displaying multiple distinct identities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The wounded parts or fragments hold the pain, terror, embarrassment and the shame of a traumatic event. This has been a coping mechanism to keep a person from losing all sense of reality. Depending on the severity and length in time of the traumatic event determines the depth and the number of fragmentations. Fragments can be created from a small form of rejection from an "important person".... all the way to severe abuse. But again, Jesus is our healer and there is hope!
Some individuals that have gone through emotional healing have actually been able to cut back their medications for depression, anxiety, anger, etc. or have gotten completely off.
***We do not recommend anyone do this without doctors supervision.***
