What is discipleship? Put simply, discipleship means intentionally partnering with another Christian in order to help that person obey Jesus and grow in relationship with Him—so that he or she can then help others do the same. Also, its allowing someone in to the secret places of your life so they can help you on your path to Christ-centeredness. The reward of implementing true discipleship is immeasurable and invaluable; the result is a life that is no longer conformed to the ways of this world, but transformed to the image and likeness of Christ. As a result of the discipleship process, disciples possess peace in the midst of the chaos of the world, hope instead of despair, and joy instead of mourning. You can have a victorious abundant life that sets you apart from the evils and perils of this world. Kevin works with men on how to be more Christ-Centered. |
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New Living Translation (NLT)
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
